Speaker Announcement: Impact of the use of AI in Spam Prevention, New Delhi, 12 August 2026
This week, join us for a roundtable discussion on the impact of AI in spam prevention. We will examine TRAI’s direction requiring mobile operators to share AI-generated spam-detection data with a common Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)-linked platform. We will also examine how automated enforcement affects legitimate communication when high-volume OTPs, reminders, delivery updates and customer-support callbacks can resemble spam.
Apply to join the discussion here.
- Date: Wednesday, 12 August 2026
- Time: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
- Venue: Viceroy Hall, The Claridges, New Delhi [https://maps.app.goo.gl/F6eeiUBXpXgTnR52A]
The discussion will examine what anti-spam systems can detect, what they cannot, and what policy should require when different operators use different models, thresholds and risk parameters. It will also ask how legitimate enterprise communication can be protected from overbroad enforcement.
There are limited seats, and applications will move to a waitlist soon.
