Luxembourg Plans to Launch Inaugural 10-Year Digitally Native Securities

By Emese Bartha

Luxembourg hired banks to arrange a series of virtual fixed-income investor calls in relation to its upcoming launch of inaugural euro-denominated 10-year benchmark fixed rate Digitally Native Securities, one of the lead manager banks said Wednesday.

The transaction is expected to be launched and priced in the near future, subject to market conditions.

The Digitally Native Securities will be issued on a distributed ledger technology (DLT) platform operated by LuxCSD S.A. (D7 DLT Platform), the same bank said.

The banks hired as joint lead managers for the issue are Barclays, BCEE, BGL BNP Paribas, Citi and Credit Agricole CIB.
