Avalanche Foundation Forms DLT Entity In Abu Dhabi Global Market For MENA Region Growth | Crowdfund Insider
The Avalanche Foundation has recently announced the formal incorporation of a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Foundation within Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), a milestone in Avalanche’s vision to support Web3 adoption, enterprise partnerships, and ecosystem growth across the MENA region.
The DLT entity (The Avalanche DLT Foundation) will serve as Avalanche’s primary regional foundation, “supporting programs, partnerships, government initiatives, enterprise engagement, and developer outreach under a clear and trusted regulatory framework.”
It will also unify existing MENA-based initiatives into “a single structure to improve transparency and operational efficiency.”
ADGM is one of the active regulatory jurisdictions globally “for foundations and decentralized organizations.”
Its DLT Foundation’s regulations provide a “framework for entities operating in blockchain ecosystems, enabling governance, digital asset management, utility-token-based operations and decentralized decision-making.”
The framework allows Web3-focused foundations “to operate without adopting traditional corporate structures that may conflict with decentralized models.”
This environment supports Avalanche’s goal of providing “a compliant, durable, and trusted foundation for long-term regional growth.”
The Avalanche DLT Foundation will act “as the primary Avalanche regional entity for all operations in MENA.”
Ecosystem programs, enterprise partnerships, government collaborations, and startup engagement originating in MENA will “flow through the DLT foundation.”
This includes all existing programs as well “as new initiatives developed in conjunction with the Avalanche Foundation.”
By incorporating with ADGM, Avalanche is able to structure partnerships and agreements, engage in governance, “support compliant token-based arrangements and mechanisms, and transact in digital assets with the kind of transparency and trust that institutional partners are seeking.”
It also creates a foundation “for enterprise adoption and long-term ecosystem development.”
As covered, Abu Dhabi has become “a key center of innovation for digital assets, fintech, and emerging technology companies in the region.”
Home to global capital and corporate headquarters, with government initiatives and international connectivity, it provides “a natural base for long-term plans in MENA.”
Avalanche Foundation has been engaged in Abu Dhabi in “a variety of ways, including Abu Dhabi Finance Week participation, keynotes, demo days and outreach for developers, and regional ecosystem pilots with support from local innovation programs.”
Establishing a DLT Foundation within ADGM gives Avalanche the ability to operate with “regulatory certainty, build alongside enterprise partners, and help drive the next wave of Web3 adoption in the region.”
This strengthens Avalanche Foundation’s commitment to the MENA ecosystem, provides support for the region’s digital infrastructure development, and highlights “a strong alignment between decentralized innovation and real-world compliance.”
The Avalanche Foundation is described as “a non-profit entity that fosters the advancement and growth of the Avalanche platform for the world.”
The Foundation provides programs for developers, entrepreneurs, and users to help advance the Avalanche ecosystem.
